Melunaknya Hati Tuhan: Tinjauan Teologis Dan Psikologis Terhadap Pembebasan Emosi Dalam Kitab Keluaran 32:14
Abstract
This scholarly work explores the theological and psychological implications of the release of divine emotions as depicted in Exodus 32:14. The background of this study focuses on how Moses’ intercession succeeded in softening God’s heart after His anger toward the Israelites for worshiping the golden calf. This situation raises profound questions concerning the nature of God’s emotions and their relevance to the human–divine relationship. The research employs a qualitative approach through narrative analysis and literature study to examine Exodus 32:14 from both theological and psychological perspectives. This method involves the use of primary and secondary sources, as well as data triangulation to enhance the validity of the analysis. The findings reveal that God’s emotions are not only central to theological discourse but also carry significant implications for individual psychological well-being. By understanding God’s nature as loving and compassionate, we can strengthen our relationship with Him and live a more meaningful life.
