Pemanfaatan Youtube Dalam Pembelajaran Teologi Sistematika Untuk Mempersiapkan Mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Agama Kristen Menghadapi Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan
Abstract
Youtube has become an inseparable part of Indonesian students' digital life, yet its structured use in teaching Systematic Theology at higher theological education remains very limited. Christian Education (called PAK) students occupy a unique position as both learners and prospective teachers who will apply Systematic Theology loci Doctrine of God, Christology, Pneumatology, Anthropology & Hamartiology, Soteriology, Ecclesiology, and Eschatology in school PAK lessons during their Teaching Practicum (called PPL). This study aims to identify the needs and perceptions of PAK students regarding Youtube use as a learning medium for Systematic Theology in PPL preparation. A descriptive quantitative approach with total sampling of 15 sixth-semester PAK students at STT Khatulistiwa Sintang was employed. Data were collected through an online questionnaire containing 26 questions in six sections, including a 5-point Likert Scale on six perception indicators. Results showed very positive perceptions toward Youtube, with the highest score on the indicator of Youtube's ability to assist PPL preparation (mean 4.20, Very High category). The majority of respondents (53.3%) had combined learning styles, 66.7% appreciated the replay feature as Youtube's main advantage, while 80% expressed concern about doctrinal accuracy of content. The study formulates a 4-Phase Framework of Youtube Utilization: Pre-Class, In-Class, Post-Class, and Pre-PPL Preparation complemented by application mapping per Systematic Theology locus and five content curation principles. This framework offers an integrated approach in which Youtube functions doubly as a source of theological content and a source of teaching modeling for prospective PAK teachers.
