Transformasi Hidup dalam Injil Yohanes: Integrasi Iman, Kasih, dan Persekutuan dengan Kristus
Abstract
Faith, love, and communion in the Gospel of John are frequently interpreted as separate theological themes, leaving their integrated role in Christian life transformation insufficiently explained. This study aims to formulate a Christ-centred integrative model of life transformation. It employs qualitative library research and combines hermeneutical-theological, lexical-syntactical, narrative, and socio-historical analyses. John 1:12, 3:16, and 5:24 are examined to explain believing, receiving eternal life, and the formation of a new identity. John 13:34–35 and 15:9–17 are analysed to identify love as the mark of discipleship and public witness. John 15:1–8 and 17:20–26 are examined to understand abiding in Christ, fruitfulness, and communal unity. The findings demonstrate that faith constitutes an active response through which believers receive eternal life and a new identity as children of God. Communion with Christ sustains this relationship through the word, obedience, and fruitfulness, while love becomes its communal manifestation. These dimensions form a unified movement of transformation that is Christ-centred, relational, communal, and ongoing. This model provides a theological foundation for integrating faith formation, spiritual communion, loving service, and social witness within the contemporary Church.
